NSW Quad Bike Safety Rebate and Free Training Program
The NSW Quad Bike Safety Rebate and Free Training Program expired on 30 June 2023.
The Quad Bike Safety Rebate and Free Training Program was first introduced in 2016 to support farmers in NSW improve quad bike and side-by-side vehicles (SSV) safety.
Since 2016, the Program has provided over $10 million in safety rebates and delivered free nationally accredited quad bike and SSV training to 2,285 farmers, farm workers and agricultural students over the age of 16. Each trained participant also received a free helmet.
The NSW Quad Bike Safety Rebate Program was administered by NSW Farmers Association.
The Free Training Program was delivered by Tocal Agricultural College.

Candidates who registered for free training up until 30 June 2023 can expect to complete their training up until 30 June 2024. Tocal Agricultural College will be in contact with you to arrange your free training.

Small Business Rebate
- Compliant helmets are available to eligible businesses who use quad bikes or SSVs to a maximum value of $1000.
- Operator protector devices (OPDs) – also known as roll bars are available to eligible businesses who use quad bikes to a maximum value of $1000.
