You have the right to know the information that we collect about users of our website, the purpose for which the information is collected, how the information is used and to whom, if anyone, the information is disclosed.
Our privacy standards are set out in the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (HRIP Act).

You may apply to SafeWork NSW to access and correct any information about you that SafeWork NSW holds. Applications should be made in writing to: Privacy Contact Officer, SafeWork NSW, Locked Bag 2906, Lisarow NSW 2252, or by email to privacy@safework.nsw.gov.au.
Access to your personal and/or health information
You have a legislative right to request access to your personal and/or health information that is held by SafeWork NSW. You can ask SafeWork NSW to provide you with access by completing our online form.
You are entitled to have access to this information without excessive delay or cost. However, you may be required to pay a fee if the application is made under the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.
Privacy complaints
If you are unhappy with the way SafeWork NSW have handled your personal or health information, please let us know. You should first raise your complaint with the relevant area within SafeWork NSW that has handled your personal or health information. If you are dissatisfied with their response, you can apply for an internal review. An internal review is a formal process undertaken in accordance with the privacy legislation to investigate a privacy-related complaint relating to conduct that involves personal information or health information.
