Consultation tools to help

Resources to help you achieve a safer and more productive workplace.

We have plenty of free tools that will help you achieve a safer and more productive workplace.

Safety promise

Make your Safety Promise – a public commitment to improving health and safety in your workplace.

You can make your Safety Promise in three simple steps:

  1. Talk to your workers about what a safer workplace might look like.
  2. Make your Safety Promise.
  3. Turn your words into actions.

Webinars

This series of five webinar modules is designed to provide Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) with an understanding of their workplace.

Modules 1 to 3 introduce you to the health and safety representative (HSR) webinar series and focus on consultation.

Module 4 describes the role of HSRs in the workplace and centres on the role of the HSR.

The 5th and final HSR webinar module in the series explains the role of a health and safety committee (HSC) and introduces viewers to the consultation toolkit - a great resource for employers, HSRs and HSCs to refer to.

By attending the HSR webinar modules 1 – 5, small businesses owners may be eligible to receive a small business rebate up to the value of $1000.

Codes of practice

Our codes of practice provide detailed information on how you can achieve the standards required under the work health and safety (WHS) laws.

For consultation, refer to the consultation, coordination and cooperation code of practice.

Free advisory visit

If you are a sole trader or small business with up to 50 full time equivalent staff then you may be entitled to a free advisory visit.
