Building and Construction Symposiums 2024

During August to October 2024, SafeWork NSW held free symposiums on workplace health and safety for the building and construction industry at Parramatta, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Ballina, Albury and Dubbo.

These symposiums were targeted to supervisors, managers, directors, Health and Safety Representatives (HSR’s) and safety professionals representing the building and construction industry in NSW.

Attendees experienced presentations regarding mental health in construction, silica and workshopped addressing construction challenges in NSW.

Results from all of the symposiums will be released shortly.
