Your information is being collected and held by SafeWork NSW.
SafeWork NSW gives priority to protecting the privacy of your personal information, in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (HRIP Act) .

2. Why we collect your personal information
SafeWork NSW is collecting your personal information for the purposes of:
- processing registrations for the SafeWork NSW Regional HSR Forum Series, and
- communicating with you about:
- the event and relevant information related to the role of health and safety representatives (HSRs), and
- about future HSR-related events.
3. The kinds of information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Your full name and contact details (including your email address).
- The name of your current employer.
- Your job title.
- Your workplace postcode.
- Industry type.
- Information about your status as a HSR.
4. Failure to provide information
Your information is provided voluntarily.
However if you choose not to provide your information, we may be unable to register you for the SafeWork NSW Regional HSR Forum Series.
5. How we may use this information
We may use the information:
- to officially register you for the event
- for internal administrative purposes, including liaising with you in relation to your submission and to support more informed service planning
- to provide you with further details
- to communicate information relevant to HSRs
- to contact you about evaluations related to the event, and
- to communicate with you about future HSR-related opportunities.
6. Who we may share your information with
We will not disclose your information to anybody else unless we are authorised or permitted to do so by law or where you have given consent.

7. Protecting your information
We will store, manage, and dispose of your information in accordance with the provisions of the PPIP Act and HRIP Acts, and we will only keep information for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. After which, the information will be disposed of securely in accordance with the State Records Act 1998 and any other applicable legislation.
