Safe at work. There for them.
You’re important at work. But at home, you're irreplaceable.
When a life is lost or forever changed due to a workplace incident, the ripple effects are profound and permanent.
SafeWork NSW's ‘Irreplaceable’ campaign reminds workers that taking risks at work not only affects them but can have a lasting impact on their workmates, their families and friends, and their community.
The campaign reinforces the importance of both physical and psychological wellbeing and encourages workers and employers to take proactive steps towards preventing harm and harassment in the workplace.
The ‘Irreplaceable’ message, You’re important at work. At home you’re irreplaceable. is being shared across television, radio and online, and in several languages.

You’re important at work. At home you’re irreplaceable
All workers have a right to return home safe at the end of their day.
Taking risks at work is not only a danger to you but can have a lasting impact on your workmates, your family and friends, and your community.
An average of 52 work-related fatalities is reported to SafeWork NSW each year- that is one worker a week. And each week in NSW, over 1,000 workers compensation claims are made for serious work-related injuries and illness.
These incidents can be prevented by creating workplaces where all workers and employers are aware of their work health and safety rights and responsibilities.
Workplaces in NSW are required to support their workers’ physical and psychological wellbeing and keep them safe from harm and harassment.
