What training is available for farmers and their workers?

SafeWork NSW has partnered with Tocal College to deliver up to 375 free training events for quad bikes and 45 free training events for side by side vehicles in regional and remote areas across NSW.

Eligible participants who undertake the quad bike training with Tocal College also receive a free compliant helmet.

The Unit of Competency (UOC) AHCMOM212 – Operate quad bikes, is a nationally recognised qualification that provides farmers, their families and workers the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills in maintaining and operating quad bikes in rural workplaces.

The UOC AHCMOM216 – Operate side by side utility vehicles, is a new one day, side by side vehicle training course that covers safe operation of vehicles as well as risk and hazard identification. This course is also offered to eligible farmers at no cost but farmers who complete the side by side UOC will not receive a free helmet.

Both training courses count as eligible interactions.

Check your eligibility and register your interest in both training courses at Tocal College.
