Why should quad bike and SSV users attend training?

Anyone using a quad bike or SSV for work must have adequate information, training, instruction and/or supervision to safely operate and maintain the vehicle as well as understand the risks associated with using these vehicles.

The free one-day and nationally recognised courses aim to develop knowledge and skills in:

  • safely and effectively operating quad bikes
  • undertaking pre-start checks and shut-down procedures
  • carrying out routine checks and maintenance.
