SafeWork NSW is reminding businesses and workers that forklift operation is a high-risk activity, and forklift-related incidents continue to occur at an unacceptably high rate, with consequences that can be life changing or fatal.
To address the ongoing issue of forklift safety, SafeWork NSW will be holding events on 16-18 June 2026, and we want to hear from you. Your experience and views are valuable and can help to shape safer workplaces.
The events will:
- inform on forklift-related trends
- engage with attendees to understand the scale of the issues
- identify any gaps and discuss potential solutions.
