This seminar is suitable for farm owners and managers, workers and supervisors, contractors and seasonal workers, and anyone involved in farming operations.
During the seminar, SafeWork NSW inspectors will cover:
- work health and safety responsibilities
- identifying hazards and managing risks
- inductions, training and supervision
- consultation and communication on farms
- emergency and communication planning
- common farm hazards, including:
- farm vehicles (quad bikes, tractors and side-by-sides)
- machinery and equipment
- working at heights
- hazardous chemicals and electrical safety
- manual handling
- psychosocial and mental well-being.
