On 1 November 2023, the defendant, Rapid Demolition Pty Ltd, was issued with a Notice requiring it to provide information to SafeWork NSW in relation to a possible contravention of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011. The defendant failed to provide the requested information to SafeWork NSW by the required time or at any time thereafter
Rapid Demolition Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of Section 155(5) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 30 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Downing Centre Local Court of NSW in its absence and fined $4,500.
Pacific Tissue Pty Ltd

On 8 March 2023, a 19 year old machine operator was feeding paper into a tissue manufacturing machine when her left hand was drawn into the machine rollers.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Pacific Tissue Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of Section 32/19(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 19 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Industrial Court of NSW and fined $150,000.
Kellogg (Aust) Pty Ltd
19 September 2025
On 3 March 2023, two workers were on a scissor lift (elevated approximately 3 metres) inside the loading dock of a warehouse. A truck driver arrived on site, and reversed the truck into the loading dock, striking the scissor lift which fell to the ground with the two workers inside.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Kellogg (Aust) Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of Section 32/19(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 19 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Industrial Court of NSW and fined $510,000.
BI Australia Pty Ltd

On 11 February 2022, a 43 year old Forklift operator was injured when a forklift struck him while he was working.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, BI Australia Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of Section 32/19(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 17 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the District Court and fined $400,000.
Hilltop Meats Pty Ltd
17 September 2025
On 20 October 2021 , a 32 year old worker, was filling bags of meal when the main auger became blocked. Another worker turned on the isolation switch, entangling the worker in the auger screw.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Hilltop Meats Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of section 32/19(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 17 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the District Court and fined $750,000.
Custom Bus Group Pty Ltd

On 2 May 2022 a worker was driving a forklift in a yard when it came in contact with a still in the yard and overturned.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Custom Bus Group Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of section 33/19(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 17 September 2025, the defendant was convicted by the District Court and fined $170,000.
