Allcott Hire Pty Ltd

On 14 July 2022, Allcott Hire Pty Ltd as a supplier of plant to be used at a workplace, failed to ensure the plant was without risks to the health and safety of persons who use it.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Allcott Hire Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of sections 33/25(2) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 3 December 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Industrial Court of NSW and fined $90,000.
Pengda Pty Ltd

On 25 May 2023, a worker was working on the roof of a storage shed when he fell approximately 3 metres to the ground below. The incident was not reported to SafeWork NSW and the incident area was disturbed following the incident.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Pengda Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of sections 38(1) and 39(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 10 December 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Downing Centre Local Court and fined $15,000 and $18,000 respectively for the offences.
Ostar Development Pty Ltd

Ostar, a property developer, failed to provide a demolisher with an engineering report with information as to how an existing property at the site needed to be demolished safely. On 12 November 2022, a neighbouring building was significantly damaged during the demolition.
After a SafeWork NSW investigation the defendant, Ostar Development Pty Ltd, was charged with a breach of sections 33/19(2) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
On 16 December 2025, the defendant was convicted by the Industrial Court of NSW and fined $75,000.
