This series of five webinar modules is designed to provide Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) with an understanding of their role in the workplace.

Health and Safety Representative Modules 1-3

Modules 1 to 3 introduce you to the HSR webinar modules and focus on consultation.

Consultation provides an opportunity to use the knowledge and experience of your staff to achieve a safer and healthier workplace. Your workplace consultation arrangements can be quite flexible provided they are planned and developed in consultation with workers. You may agree on establishing a health and safety committee, having a health and safety representative (HSR), or have other agreed arrangements.

Consultation is a legal requirement and an essential part of managing health and safety risks.

Health and Safety Representative Module 4

Module 4 describes the role of HSRs in the workplace and focuses on the role of the HSR.

Health and Safety Representative Module 5

This final HSR webinar module focuses on the role of a health and safety committee (HSC) and introduces viewers to the Consultation toolkit, a great resource for employers, HSRs and HSCs to refer to on consultation.

By attending all the modules (1-5) on HSRs and consultation you may be eligible to receive a small business rebate up to the value of $500.
