Who we are
Your information is being collected and held by the SafeWork NSW Agency (SafeWork NSW). SafeWork NSW is the primary work health and safety regulator in New South Wales. It operates under the legislative mandate of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) and is responsible for engaging with the NSW community to prevent work-related fatalities, serious injuries, and illnesses and securing compliance with work health and safety laws. On 1 July 2025, it was formally established as an independent regulator under the Work Health and Safety Amendment (Standalone Regulator) Act 2025.

We are collecting your name and email address to support workplace safety and engagement initiatives.
Are you required by law to give us your information?
Providing this information is voluntary. If you choose not to provide it, this may affect our ability to tailor communications or provide certain services.
How your information will be used and shared
The information you provide will be used by SafeWork NSW and may be shared with Department of Communities and Justice and the Minister for Work Health and Safety where it is reasonably necessary for sending invitations, tracking attendance, and coordinating stakeholder involvement in SafeWork NSW events, workshops, forums, and information sessions and other directly related purposes, but will not be disclosed to any other party unless authorised by law or you have provided consent. On 1 July 2025, SafeWork NSW was established as an Executive Agency related to the Department of Customer Service (DCS). DCS will continue to provide some corporate service functions to SafeWork NSW under formal agreement and assist us with our business operations by providing software and storing data on our behalf.
